In the Sprit of Chinese New Year
Did you know that Chinese New Year is also called spring festival. The celebration lasts for 15 days from the 1st to 15th day of the first lunar month. It is the grandest and most important annual event for Chinese people. The 2018 Chinese New Year falls on Feb. 16. It is the Year of Dog according to Chinese zodiac. If you were born in the year of the dog like me, you are supposed to wear red to drive away the bad luck. Red is one of the luckiest colors in Chinese culture, standing for prosperity, loyalty, success, and happiness. wearing a red belt, red socks, red shoes, or red clothes, and red underwear is highly recommended during your zodiac year. So this H&M turtleneck sweater is perfect for me. It has the gorgeous pop of red that I like and I love the loose sleeves with narrow cuffs. I snatched it the moment I saw it online. I styled it with my red strapped jeans and red heels. To tone down the red, I added a pair of dark glitter socks and a black puffer on top. Hope all the red can keep away the bad luck. Unfortunately, the red sweater sold out really fast. Anyhow, I’ve found some other pretty fabulous options at great price. Hope you like them too.
