COLETTE JAFFE BRINGS MODERN ITALIAN LUXURY TO YOUR HOME
Making the bed is definitely an art. It’s more than just piling your pillows together and making the sheet look even. Some prefer bold colors and some prefer the monochromic look. Dressing a bed requires a certain level of skill and creativity. I am a color person by heart. But to me, nothing beckons like a bed of crisp white linens at day’s end. A cloud of fluffy, snowy sheets feels ultra luxurious. Worried you don’t have what it takes? Never fear, Colette Jaffe has you covered. Her line of linen carries the most beautiful shade of vibrant colors. She has red, lavender and maize for the color lovers, and also white and beige for the minimalists. Most of all, her sheets are incredibly stylish and cozy.
After a 25 year career in luxury linens – Pratesi, the gold-standard in fine Italian linens, Colette Jaffe launched her own eponymous luxury linen brand in 2016. Her quality, and colorful home collection includes linens of course but also robes, candles and bathroom accessories, bursting with color and made with craft. Her linens are entirely manufactured in Italy using the highest quality Egyptian cotton, which make the sheets softer and stronger. Her sheets have a thread count of 300 in a sateen finish. One thing I have learned with Colette is that the higher thread count isn’t better – just thicker and stiffer. Her fitted sheet is fully elasticized with a 17-inch depth for thicker mattresses, which is a huge plus. How many times I find my king-sized fitted sheet can’t actually fit in the padded mattresses. There is a reason why her multi righe collection is completely SOLD OUT. Don’t fret though, the new released multi righe sleep mask is so instagrammable and will make your feed totally standing out. Another stand out of the collection is the range of luscious cotton robes that are available in shawl collar and kimono styles. And you can choose the belt pattern and color. One thing I love about her bedding in addition to the higher quality is that I can mix and match one style with others so easily. Here I picked Tosca sheet set and mixed them with her signature CJ duvet cover to create this all white crisp linen with a hint of subtle colors. I feel like I am climbing to a bed heaven by the end of night. The sheets are so soft and sophisticated that they make me feel so well rested. Some of Pratesi’s retail for up to $2000 for queen set while Colette Jeffs are priced around $600. We splurge money on our “it” bags or shoes but why not splurge money on the bedding we actually use daily? After all, we spend one third of our lives in bed and don’t we deserve the best quality bedding for ourselves?
Thank you Colette Jaffe for sponsoring this post!
